Pakistan Airlines Pilots Association (PALPA) on Wednesday rejected the slash in salaries and benefits of privileged employees

All CPL and ATPL pilot licences issued by the PCAA are ‘genuine and validly issued’, clarified the CAA official.

The regulations under Employees Disciplinary Policy 2019 defined strict action against the violators for instructing staff to observe strike or go slow.

The PALPA spokesperson said in a statement that the 30 per cent deduction in airline pilots' salaries were made without any reason.

PALPA has refused to operate special PIA flights due to unsatisfactory disinfection arrangements in the planes amid coronavirus pandemic.

"The safety and health of our crew members has always been and remains our utmost priority".
