Navjot Singh Sidhu politician, commentator and a famous former cricket player born on 20th October 1968 in Patiala, India his father Sardar Bhagwant Singh was also a famous former cricket player and his father always wanted his son to become the top cricketer of India.

Sidhu started her career in 1983 which lasted till 1999, his first debut match was against west indies at Ahmedabad stadium. He also got selected for his first cricket world cup in 1987 and secured 73 runs in first match. He also made record by making half century in 4/5 matches.

Navjot Singh Sidhu announced his retirement in 1999 and started television commentary in all three languages Hindi, Punjabi and English. After his retirement from cricket he also started his career in politics and joined BJP he got associated with the party for about twelve years and got elected as the member of parliament twice.
