Naushahro Feroze

Naushahro Feroze district located in the center of the Sindh province with capital city Naushahro Feroze subdivided into five talukas (units) every taluka has its separate district commissioner and fifty-one union council. Due to its geographical location the city is considered one of the most important city of the province.

The city is surrounded with the Indus river and Thar Desert. One of the oldest school of the region is also located in the city. The city has fifty-six archeological site due to bad governance which are not been well taken care off. Eight-hundred-year-old Buddhist fort is also present in the city.

The district has a good potential in producing Wheat, cotton, sugar cane and banana. Various tourist visits the district for hunting.
