Muzaffarabad

Muzaffarabad is the largest city of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Province the city is famous for tourism since past few years the city also consist of two rivers Jhelum and Neelum. Perviosuly Muzaffarabad was known as Chakri Behar during 17^th century Sultan Muzaffar Khan founded the city and named it after his name.

Muzaffarabad hold the population of more than 8 million people and has a Literacy rate of 73.85% the city consists 72% of primary and 28% of high schools. Red fort is also situated in the city which is completely made up of red stones which is now the most visited place by the tourist.
