Maryam Nawaz Sharif

Maryam Nawaz is a famous Pakistani politician from leading political party, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N). Maryam Nawaz is second of the four children of Nawaz Sharif. She was born on 28th October 1973. She did her initial studies from Convent of jesus and Mary, Kind Edward Medical University. Later she also did her Ph.D. in Political Science.

Maryam Nawaz was married to Capt. (r) Muhammad Safdar Awan in 1992. As per the birth year, she was 19 years old when she got married. Safdar, her husband, was serving as a Captain in Pakistan Army when they got married. Maryam Nawaz & Capt. (r) Safdar have three children. Her eldest daughter is Mehr-un-Nisa Munir who got married in November 2015. Son, Muhammad Junaid Safdar and younger daughter Mahnoor Safdar.

In 2011 Maryam Nawaz step into politics and was working as a political worker of PML-N where in 2013 she took participation is supporting her Father Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in his election campaign later the same year she was appointed as the chairperson of Prime Minister’s Youth Program. Since 2013 she has been very active on her social media platform specially on Twitter she was playing her part very responsibly. After her name was seen in Panama Paper 2017. She has been charged with corruption charges as she was unable to satisfy the supreme court of Pakistan and now she is under investigation of NAB and other regulatory bodies she had also spend few months in prison where she got free on bail.
