Marriyum Aurangzeb is of great importance the Pakistan Muslim League N and her experience in politics has made her very close with party leadership.
She is the daughter of Pakistan’s prominent figures as her father name is Mushahid Ullah Khan and her mother is Tahira Aurangzeb.
Marriyum Aurangzeb completed her graduation from Federal Government College in Islamabad. Then did M.A in Economics from Quaid e Azam University.
For her Masters Degree in Environmental and Development policy, she then went abroad to King’s College London.
Her career in politics still a young one that began in 2013 when she was given the ticket by Pakistan Muslim League N to contest elections. Being her first time in elections she was able to win and got herself a seat in the National assembly.
She is a valuable asset to her party and has been seen working closely with Maryam nawaz Sharif.
She has held many important positions which include Parliamentary Secretary for Interior, member of Standing Committee for Climate Change, member of Standing Committee for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage and Chief Organiser of Youth Women Wing, for Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
She rose in stature when was given the positions of Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting along with charge of the Ministry of Information.
