Malakand

Malakand, One the most beautiful mountainous city in the world is located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan. It is also the administrative hub to the province due to its geographical location the district is also act like a gateway to other parts of the province.

The district is surrounded by the mountains with lush green lands and trees upon them. Sawat river also flows from the district down towards charsadda and fells into river Kabul the district is very famous among tourist each year hundreds of thousands tourist visit the district and explore the natural beauty of the region.

The district is divided into two constituencies for provincial assembly and one for the national assembly. Dargai tehsil is located on main national highway which is consumed by the tourist to visit Sawat and other parts of the district but due to law and order situation number of visitors decreased which also effects the local markets located in the territory.
