Locusts is a crop eating insect which is very similar to a grasshopper and one of the main difference is that locusts will occasionally gathers in massive swarms being in high population locust’s do massive damages to the crops.

In the past crop eating insects have been more of a major issue just because the detection methods and pest control are general have now really evolved. Now we can get rid of with pesticides and pest-control techniques.

The adult locusts are powerful fliers they can travel great distances consuming most of the green vegetation wherever the swarms settles crop eating insects have formed plagues  since pre-history the ancients Egyptians carved them on their tombs  it has also become the cause of human migration.
