Katy Perry a veteran American pop singer, Lyricist and a Television judge full name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson. The sensational singer was born on October 25^th 1984 in the born again Christian family where commercial music was banned in the house. During her teenage Hudson learned to play guitar and started her career by singing hymns her first album sold poorly in 2001.

To improve her skills in music she joined the Music academy of west and also learned the Italian Opera Later the starlet moved to Los Angeles to start practicing and learn secular music in 2007 Katy Perry signed contract with Capital records and her first song “I kissed a girl” got released which helped her to become a successful singing star.

In 2008 she launched her second album “one of the boys” with 700 successful copies sold and the songs were added into billboard 200. After her second album she had become a prominent name in the international music industry.
