Judicial Inquiry is a formal process and a legal way to investigate a person who is yet to be get convicted as per allegation applied on him/her. These inquiries are headed by a judge whose prime responsibility is to provide justice to the public.

Judicial inquiries can be extended only by the judge appointed to the case, the authority to extended the judicial remand of a person or to provide any relaxation before announcing the verdict against the accused is in the hand of the appointed judge.

Bail can be granted to the persons involved in the judicial inquiry as per the scope of the allegations, bailed person has to appeared by him/herself with in the court on the decided date and should he held accountable in front to the judicial process.
