Federica Mogherini is a female Italian politician was born on June 16th 1973 in Rome, Italy. Mogherini completed her Political science degree from the university of Rome.
She first got elected to the parliament in 2008 and was appointed to the defense and foreign affairs committee. She was also the youngest politician to be appointed for the position since WWII.
She had also served as the foreign minister from February to October 2014. During her term in parliament she was also appointed the Head of the Italian delegation to North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Federica Mogherini is married to Matteo and had two daughters Caterina and Marta.
