Abdul Razak Dawood

Abdul Razak Dawood founder of Descon engineering and constructions, chemical, power and inspection company. Dawood got his mining engineering from Newcastle university united kingdom and master in business administration from Columbia university NYC United States of America.

Abdul Razak Dawood started his career from family business at Lawrencepur woolen and textile mills in 1968 later became the managing director in 1973. Dawood has also served as the Director of the state bank of Pakistan.

He was appointed as the Minister of Commerce, Textile Industry production and investment by the premier of Pakistan Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi on 18th August 2018 after the general elections of Pakistan. Descon the Engineering Giant also wins the bid for the construction of Mohmand Dam the bid calculated of Rs 309 Billion for the Dam.
