KOHAT: The funeral prayers of 34 victims of the Taftan massacre was held at Kohat and the bodies have been sent to their native areas for the last rites on Tuesday, ARY News reports.
The death toll of the incident reached 34 today. The bodies have been sent to the native areas of the victims were they will be laid to rest.
Earlier, collective funeral prayers of the victims was held in which their family members and representatives of Majlis-e-Wahdatul-Muslimeen (MWM) and Shia Ulema Council were present.
Border city Taftan was rocked by firing and three suicide blasts when pilgrims, who arrived from Iran, were having their meal at a restaurant.
One of the attackers was gunned down by the security forces.
Seventeen people were also wounded in the incident who were shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Quetta.
