He made the statement as he was attending a fast bowler’s talent hunt program in Islamabad’s G-8 ground.
Khan, speaking on the occasion, expressed his disappointment on Afridi’s captaincy.
He added that Shahid Afridi did opposite of what he had advised him ahead of the 2016 World Twenty20 in India.
It should be noted that Shahid Afridi had stepped down as Pakistan’s captain in the shortest format of the game following a dismal show in the World T20.
The former cricketer said that talent is present in the country but they need stadiums. He added club cricket will strengthened in the country by building stadiums.
Pakistani cricketer’s Umar Ameen, Yasir Hameed and Imad Wasim were also present in the program.
