KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Tuesday rounded up four persons involved in stealing and snatching motorbikes from different areas of Karachi, ARY News reported.
The Sindh Rangers spokesperson said the suspects were arrested during separate raids in Malir 15 and Lyari areas.
The suspects, Noor Muhammed, Zaid Ali, Maaz Ali and Muhammed Raheem used to steal bikes from Malir, Sarjani, Landhi and commercial areas of the metropolis, he said.
“They snatched and stole more than 500 bikes,” the Sindh Rangers spokesman said adding that four motorcycles and different number plates were recovered from them.
He said the suspects would go to Turbat, Balochistan, on the motorbikes with forged number plates.
Last day, Sindh Police conducted combing and search operations in Larkana Division and arrested 16 wanted criminals from the limits of Kamber Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Jacobabad and Larkana Range.
Weapons and narcotics were recovered from criminals’ possession.
