The apex committee was chaired by Sindh Governor Ishrat-ul-Ebad and was attended by Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Corp. Commander Lt-Gen. Naveed Mukhtar and other high-level officials.
They discussed the progress made for implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP). Also, they discussed the situation of the cases in the military courts.
They also discussed the operation in Lyari and the efforts made to being peace in the troubled area. It was decided to expedite the process to arrest members of banned organizations and other high-profile criminals.
The meeting was briefed by DG Rangers Maj-Gen. Bilal Akber and Additional Home Secretary Sindh Muhammad Waseem .
