Shah Rukh’s car hits photographer in Mumbai

MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is well known with his sobriquet ‘King Khan’, and the actor makes no secret of him being the ‘king by heart’.

It happened a day ago when Khan was entering actress Alia Bhatt’s building in Juhu, Mumbai to attend her 24th birthday bash when reportedly his car accidentally ran over a photographer’s leg.

According to reports, when SRK reached Alia’s house, the photographers gathered around him to click his pictures when his car accidentally ran over a photographer’s leg. The report further says Shah Rukh Khan immediately stepped out of his car and made the photographer sit in his car and asked his bodyguard to take him to the hospital.

The photographer was soon treated by SRK’s personal doctor and the actor took care of the medical expenses, the report added.

A website reported an eye-witness as saying, “Shah Rukh was extremely polite and asked the photographers not be scared as he will take care of the entire incident. The photographer who got injured is a new guy and he extremely got excited seeing the actor. He tried his level best to capture Shah Rukh…and didn’t realise that he will hurt himself as the car was moving in full speed. But thankfully, nothing major happened and the situation is now under control.”
