Rahul Dholakia’s movie Raees is being anticipated since a very long time. And why shouldn’t it? The movie stars Bollywood’s king Shah Rukh Khan and also marks the Bollywood debut of Pakistani beauty Mahira Khan!

Raees will also feature another promising actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has garnered critical acclaim from the Bollywood fraternity for his antagonistic role in Badlapur. Following his stellar performance, Siddiqui earned key roles opposite not only Shah Rukh but Salman Khan as well.
Raees will be an important movie for Mahira, not only due to the fact that it’s her debut Bollywood flick, but as it contains top-notch Indian superstars, such as Shah Rukh himself. ‘King’ Khan had earlier expressed his happiness on sharing screen space with the talented Pakistani and even showered her with praises a couple of weeks back.

Raees will be directed by Rahul Dholakia, who also directed the Sanjay Dutt film Lamhay. Mahira Khan, who started out in the entertainment industry as a Pakistani VJ, acted in Pakistani dramas most notably Humsafar. Humsafar was a sensational hit in Pakistan as well as India, earning Fawad Khan (who starred opposite her in the drama serial) a Bollywood film. Mahira has also starred in a Pakistani movie before, in Shoaib Mansoor’s Bol which also turned out to be an instant hit.
Since Mahira has conquered various outlets of Pakistani entertainment, there remains no doubt she can do the same as a Bollywood actress!
