Dera Ghazi Khan: Rescue officials are continuing their search for three women and six children who drowned at Dera Ghazi Canal yesterday, ARY News reports on Sunday.
The women and children had drowned as their Qingqi rickshaw had fell in the canal. They have not yet been recovered after 22 hours of search. Officials have said that rescue search is facing problems due to high water current.
The incident occurred when the overloaded rickshaw lost its control as the family was en route to visit their relative.
Residents had save one child and two women from the canal. They stated that the rickshaw fell into the canal as there were no protective walls around the place.
