As per the details, the tragic incident took place at a private school located 20 miles away from Mingora at an area known as Sangoota. The schoolteacher accidentally shot to death a student and injured another whilst he was cleaning a pistol.
The bullet hit students who were present in the classroom at the time of the incident. Student Maaz died on the spot whilst another student was injured, as a result of the accidental firing. The injured pupil was shifted to a local hospital where he is currently undergoing medical treatment.
Police reached the scene of the crime instantly and arrested the schoolteacher, also seizing the weapon used to commit the crime.
