The annual performance review, including financial statements of the Bank and its subsidiaries and the auditor’s report thereon, has been released to the public and transmitted to the Federal Government pursuant to Section 40(2) of State Bank of Pakistan Act 1956.
According to the report, SBP spent Rs 6.69 billion to print notes during FY 2015 — compared to Rs 6.146 billion the previous year.
It says that SBP also spent Rs 8.61 billion on annual salaries and other benefits, while it spent Rs 11.107 billion on retirement benefits.
The annual review report describes the State Bank of Pakistan made a net profit of Rs 401.751 billion for the 2015 financial year – compared to Rs 311.815 billion for 2014.
