LAHORE: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the former chief justice Saqib Nisar had banned the projects started by the PML-N government, ARY News reported on Saturday.

Speaking at an event on his visit to Railway Crossing Flyover project in Shahdara, the PM said the caretaker government has worked hard on the pending projects that were intentionally stopped in the PTI tenure. The PTI government did not want to complete the projects.

He maintained that Pakistan was moving rapidly towards its prosperous future in the PML-N government from 2013 to 2018 but the rigged election in 2018 brought PTI into power and they stopped the initiatives of the PML-N government.

PM Shehbaz Sharif further said that they know the inflation has made life hard for the people but they initiated the free flour distribution project worth Rs 65 billion which benefited more than 8 to 10 crore people in Punjab. Except for a few unfortunate incidents the process of distribution is going well.

The PDM government got a mismanaged IMF deal from their predecessors But they have no other choice other than the IMF deal and accept their condition, PM Shehbaz Sharif added.

The last condition of the IMF deal was to lend a guaranteed amount from the friendly countries and the brotherly countries Saudi Arabia, UAE and China helped Pakistan in these tough, PM Shehbaz Sharif added.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lambasted the former chief justice supreme court for banning and halting the projects started by the then PML-N government. He said that out of 56 companies, they did not prove corruption in even one company.
