Samsung has announced to launch Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in January.
The announcement was made through ‘Beta notices’ in the Galaxy Beta Program which did not mention an exact date.
“We will do our best to distribute the official version in January as soon as possible,” the notification read.
The South Korean company in the notification said, “Galaxy Beta program is ending on December 30 by 24:00pm.”
With wrapping up the Galaxy Beta Program tonight, Samsung will stop entertaining ‘error report’ and ‘suggestion’ sections of the program, while it will manage these things through ‘community’ feed only.
“After the end of Beta program there will be no new Beta version release and no individual feedback related to ‘Error report’ and ‘Suggestion’ and there is a plan to manage it via ‘community’ only,” it said.
