According to Sultan director Ali Abbas Zafar, Salman Khan got kicked, punched and thrown in real during the shooting of the much awaited film. In an interview with an Indian website DNA, he opened up about all the preparation that went into making the film and why he is scared of people’s expectations.
“Hats off to him for the way he has transformed his body without taking a break. At 50 that is very difficult to do. We switched two body types while shooting which is phenomenal because the wrestling body is a little leaner and ripped and the bulkier body is for the MMA…

…He trained every day for three hours. He got thrown around, kicked and punched. But within three months he was kicking, punching and doing all those things like a pro,” the director told.
Salman’s film is scheduled to release on the actor’s favourite calendar spot – Eid. The film also stars Anushka Sharma, Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh. Hooda has already declared that Sultan is Salman’s career best performance.
This is his second film with Salman after Kick. Hooda said despite his part in the film being small, it is special for him.
