Pakistan’s Mohammad Sajjad completely dominated Hong Kong’s Lee Chun Wai 7-0 to claim the Asian 6-Red Snooker Championship title in Kyrgyzstan on Sunday.
Earlier in the tournament, Sajjad defeated his countryman Mohammad Bilal in semi-final by 6-3 to earn a spot in the final. While, Bilal had beaten India’s Pankaj Advani by 6-2 in quarter-finals.
This is Sajjad’s second major success, while it is the second Asian 6-Red Snooker title for Pakistan. Mohammad Asif won it four years back in 2013 in Qatar.

Champions Trophy winner Sajjad’s bring great inspiration for all the players in Pakistan. Sajjad said draws were very tricky while all four players are very talented in their sport. He also said that this is the great year for snooker. Naveed Kapadia state, we got bronze in the Asian junior championship, a bronze in the Asian Championship through Bilal and now these two medals.”
Paksitan will not compete in team event in Saudi Arabia in the opening game and kapadia is confident for that one too.
