Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality, the simulation game based on the American adult animated science-fiction sitcom is coming to PlayStation VR in 2018.
The game was developed by Owlchemy Labs and published by Adult Swim Games for Microsoft Windows on April 20, 2017. The series co-creator Justin Roiland also aided in the development of the game.
The series follows the misadventures of cynical mad scientist Rick Sanchez and his fretful, easily influenced grandson Morty Smith, who split their time between domestic life and inter-dimensional adventures.
Brad Nicholson Marketing Producer, adult swim games made the announcement on the official PlayStation blog saying the game “is a great way to question your self worth” and they are excited to give PlayStation VR owners the chance to do just that in 2018 when Virtual Rick-ality comes to PS VR.
Virtual Rick-ality is a fully-voiced VR game featuring Rick, Morty, and iconic stuff from the TV show. In the game, players take the role as a Morty clone on a journey across multiple dimensions to explore Rick’s garage, the Smith household, and alien worlds.
Rick and Morty have teleported into your living room for a cutting-edge VR adventure. Along the way, players solve puzzles and experience a great Rick and Morty story.
One of our favorite things to talk about is the sheer amount of stuff you can do in Virtual Rick-ality. This includes listening to Rick’s instructions, walk through portals into space or other dimensions, flip knobs, press buttons, wear hats, throw and break stuff, and drink detergent.
Players can also combine objects in the combinator to make new objects, control your own Youseeks, make him explode and experience death, raise a pet, feed a monster, eat fruits and vegetables and
learn how to fix an intergalactic car.
Players can do all of that without leaving the comfort of their PS VR in their living room. Virtual Rick-ality is the most immersive way to get into the world of Rick and Morty.
