Ranveer, Deepika could ban this important gadget at their wedding

In a possible attempt to protect privacy and prevent the private affair from becoming the social media fodder, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are reportedly considering to ban cell phones at their wedding.

According to Times of India, the couple are trying to encourage their wedding guests to simply enjoy the moment and are discouraging tech usage by asking friends and family to abandon their devices for the duration of their wedding ceremony.

“They have asked guests to not bring their cell phones to the ceremony. Considering the fact that it will be a destination wedding, there will be fewer people and all the arrangements will be in place. While the two, in all likelihood, will share pictures with their fans eventually, they hope this step will help them guard their privacy,” the DNA reported.

Deepika and Ranveer seem really inspired by cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma’s secret destination wedding in Florence, Italy in December 2017. According to a Filmfare report, only 30 people from both the sides will be invited to the wedding.

“It’s a very special day for both Ranveer and Deepika which is why they just want the close ones to be present for their wedding ceremony. Mostly it will be their families and a few close friends. The guest list consists of merely 30 people and that’s exactly how these two want it. Italy is a favourite destination of both Ranveer and Deepika so they want to keep their big day more of a private affair. They are looking forward to hosting grand receptions once they’re back in India post the wedding,” the magazine quoted its source as saying.

Ranveer and Deepika were recently spotted in Italy with Deepika’s sister, Anisha. They were seen walking hand-in-hand, trying to avoid cameras and reportedly yelling at fans who tried to click their pictures.

Deepika and Ranveer have worked in three films together, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ramleela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. He also had a guest appearance in her film Finding Fanny.
