According to a Rangers statement, the law enforcement agency personnel on confirmed reports conducted a raid in Musharraf Colony and captured the cache of weapons and ammunition buried underground in the area. The buried cache of arms included three 303 rifles, four 7mm rifles, four sub-machine guns (SMGs), 30-bore pistol, 200 rounds of SMGs, and 300 rounds of rifle-303.
Rangers said that the weapons and ammunition were likely to be used to spread lawlessness and target killings in the city.
