KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Wednesday conducted a raid in Machar Colony and arrested two kidnappers and safely recovered the captive from their custody, ARY News reported.
Rangers spokesman said that they receive a call on their helpline on Tuesday June 19 by a man named Saleem, complaining that his son was missing since 11 A.M. that day.
The man raised concerns that his son might have been kidnapped by a suspect Bakht Baidar alias Chirya and his brother Abdul Majeed.
The operational and intelligence teams of the Rangers acted swiftly, and arrested both suspects from Muhammadi Colony. The captive Samiullah was also rescued safely from the location.
Supect Bakht Baidar is reportedly nominated in five different FIRs regisered at the Jackson and Docks police stations. His brother has been arrested for abettment in kidnapping. Both have been handed over to Police for further legal procedures.
On the other hand, Rangers conducted several raids in various parts of city and arrested five suspects, and recovered arms and narcotics from their possession.
