According to Jamaat-e-Islami media cell, the meeting took place on Karachi Airport where both leaders discussed the recent raids by Rangers along with the overall law and order situation in Karachi.
The JI chief opined that economic prosperity cannot be achieved without bringing peace to Karachi adding that all political forces want the reign of terror to end.
The JI chief stressed that the operation should be carried out in such way that no party or individual can raise objection.
