LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Tahir-ul-Qadri has said expressed lack of confidence in the ongoing inquiry in the Panama Papers and the ‘Newsleak’ inquiry commission saying that it would not achieve anything substantial.
Qadri made the remarks of Twitter saying that nothing is going to come out of the Panama Papers and the ‘Cyril Leaks’, adding that it was a clean chit and laundry to wash out all blots.
He said that it was audacious for Justice (retd) Amir Raza Khan to head the ‘newsleak’ inquiry committee and investigate the matter despite being rejected by opposition parties.
Furthermore, he said that the matter is not just about the audacity of the retired judge, but the stubbornness of the rulers and the patience of national security institutions.
He questioned how ordinary people will get justice when it cannot be dispensed in matters of a breach of national security in the presence of the government.
It is indeed audacious of Justice (r ) Amir Raza that he has still chosen to investigate the Cyril leak despite rejection by Opp parties.

Opposition parties reject commission
The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and the Pakistan People’s Party has already rejected the inquiry commission headed by Justice (retd) Amir Raza Khan.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan has said that Amir Raza Khan has strong ties with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif which raises questions of impartiality and fairness.
He had demanded to constitute an alternate body head by a senior judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, and that a time must also be stipulated.
The Pakistan People’s Party had also rejected the committee terming it any eyewash. Leader of Opposition and PPP leader Khursheed Shah has already said that they will not accept a judicial commission over the matter.
The controversial news story was published in leading English daily on 6 October about a high-level security meeting.
