NOSHERA: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak on Sunday said police of Punjab and Islamabad were violating the constitution of Pakistan by arresting protesters, ARY News reported.
“I ask from Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan that under which law are police not allowing workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold protest? Our constitution gives right to protest and every kind of political activity,” he said while addressing a rally in Noshera.
He said shutting down Islamabad was their constitutional and democratic right and nobody could stop them from it. He also dared the government that nobody could harm Chairman PTI Imran Khan.
“We will leave tomorrow morning at 10:00am from Sawabi Interchange for Islamabad to get our leader released. The government should not force us to become rebel,” he said.
The CM KP reiterated that the country was being looted. The country was not founded for robbers. He would not rest till elimination of the ruling government, he said.
He expressed resolve that they would reach Bani Gala, residence of PTI chairman, by crossing all the barricades.
“We stand for an ambition today. We have to dethrone the government. Limbs of the government are already trembling,” he said.
