ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Monday submitted documentary evidence to support its stance on the Panamagate scandal hearing at the Supreme Court on November 15.
The documents submitted by PTI Chairman Imran Khan through his legal adviser Advocate Hamid Khan comprised of more than 600 pages.

The documentary evidence includes details of the bank accounts owned by the Sharif family and its bank loans waivers to strengthen the infamous case against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members.
The Panamagate Scandal appeared in April 2016 when names of several Pakistanis including Nawaz Sharif’s children surfaced in one of the world’s biggest ever data leaks through an online searchable database made public by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ).
Sharif family replaces lawyer
Meanwhile, senior lawyer Akram Sheikh has replaced ex-Attorney General Salman Aslam Butt and would now take up the Panama Leaks case from the next hearing.
Sources confirmed on Monday that the Sharif family decided to change their legal representation in the apex court on the will of Maryam Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz and Hasan Nawaz.
The PM’s children also submitted a formal request in which they maintained that the services of Akram Sheikh would now be required in their case.
PM Sharif’s children submit replies
Last week, the apex court had asked Maryam Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz and Hasan Nawaz, children of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, to file documents related to their properties.
In her reply, Maryam Nawaz categorically denied holding any offshore company during the last hearing. Similarly, Hussain and Hasan Nawaz in their respective replies alleged that they had been working and living overseas for several years within the laws.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had also denied holding any offshore company or business outside Pakistan.
