Police foil major terrorism bid in Karachi

The law enforcers raided a compound in Manghopir’s Sultanabad area and seized several SMGs, rocket launchers, Awan bombs, explosives with nuts and bolts, and thousands of live rounds.

The compound was owned by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’s (TTP) local commander Ehsanullah Mehsud, said officials.

The SSP West said that these explosives and ammunition were stored secretly to be used in a major terrorism activity on Eid.
