Citizens Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) and Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) in a joint raid arrested Rehmat Gul, prime accused of the Laraib kidnapping case, which had caused enough chaos within political and official circles in Karachi a few days ago.
CPLC Chief, Ahmed Chinoy told that Gul is an Afghan immigrant and a case is registered against him with the Gabol Town police.
Gul along with other accomplices had abducted Laraib on January 26, however the culprits later freed him on January 27 without having received the ransom .
