ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate four new trains of Pakistan Railways on Friday (today) through video link, ARY News reported.
As per spokesperson of the Pakistan railways, the four more trains will be added to the department’s fleet today after inauguration by the premier, including Sindh Express, Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai Express, Faisalabad Express and Rehman Baba Express.
Sindh express will run between the route of Karachi to Sukkur, Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai express will be plied between Karachi to Mirpurkhas, while Faisalabad and Rehman Baba trains will run from Peshawar to Karachi, said the spokesperson of Pakistan Railways.
“Target of adding 10 new trains to the fleet of Pakistan railways within first 100 days of the government, a target set by the railways minister, Sheikh Rasheed, will be accomplished “, he continued.
It is pertinent to mention here that earlier, the Pakistan railways department had inaugurated two new trains, the Mianwali express and Dhabeji shuttle train service aimed at to provide facilities to the passengers, travelling by the trains.
On November 19, Pakistan and China had also agreed to improve cooperation in railways sector and deputed technical teams to work out the details in this regard.
The consensus was made in a meeting held between the delegations of the two countries in the federal capital.
