Relations between Pakistan and India have been fragile over the last couple of months amid a wave of bloody clashes in the held Kashmir between Indian forces and stone-throwing Kashmiri demonstrators killing more than 100 people mostly civilians and injuring thousands of others.
PM Nawaz Sharif during his address at the UN General Assembly session today is likely to highlight the Kashmir dispute and Pakistan’s stance on regional and international matters.
Meanwhile while talking to ARY News in the United States (US), President Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Masood Khan urged Muslim countries to support Kashmiris on every international platform.
Khan was of the view that if the international community along with Muslim countries understand the reasons why Kashmiris have been fighting for years in the region, they would be able to help them get close to their freedom.
