KASUR: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Sunday said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif cannot escape scot free from the Panama Leaks case, ARY News reported.
“Pakistan is finally changing. End days of the corrupt rulers are drawing near. For the first time in the history of Pakistan, an incumbent prime minister is being interrogated in the Supreme Court on corruption charges,” he said while addressing a public gathering in Kasur.
The SC is hearing the corruption case filed by the opposition parties against Sharif family in the wake of the Panama Papers leaks.
Imran said as far as he saw, Nawaz could not escape from the Panama case. The PM would be shown the exit, if Qatari prince’s letter came out false.

Even if London flats were proved to be his property, it will also be his defeat, he said adding that the PM was seeking immunity on speaking lie on the floor of National Assembly which could cost Nawaz his premiership.
Citing example of the neighbouring country, he said China nabbed 1.1 million people in three years, including many high officials, and held 200 ministers accountable who were involved in corruption. Khan also lauded the health care system of China.
Calling attention towards the dire need of better health system, the PTI chief lamented over expenditure of Rs 12 billion on advertisements with pictures of both the Sharif brothers, while, he said Rs 4 billion were spent to construct Shaukat Khanum Hospital Peshawar, which is bigger than Jinnah Hospital Lahore.

On this occasion, he also resented over the death of Zehra BiBi.

According to an ARY News report, a 60-year-old woman, Zehra Bibi was brought to Jinnah Hospital Lahore in the first week of this January after suffering from cardiac-related problem, but the staffers only administered the woman a drip after about three hours as she was lying on the ground meant for pedestrians.

Apparently paying no heed to the ailing woman’s condition, the hospital staff also refused to provide her with a bed saying all of the beds were occupied. Delay in timely treatment deteriorated the woman’s condition and she died.
