In the wake of persisting terrorism threats, several security measures are being taken to ensure law and order in Sindh on the eve of ‘Youm-e-Ali’.
Among these, most important is a ban on pillion riding and the Home Department has issued a notification in this regard.
People will not be able to ride pillion from 19-21 Ramadan.
It was further said that the ban will be strictly imposed and a stern action will be taken against the ones violating it.
Moreover, women, children, old citizens and journalists will be exempted.
