According to details, the person named Mohammad Afzal had arrived at Lahore from New York through PIA flight number PK-712.
The Customs department searched his luggage and found 21 bottles of wine. The passenger was taken into custody.
The operator of the scanning machine at the Lahore Airport has also been arrested by the Customs officials after he failed to notice that the passenger was carrying liquor with him.
