Zeenat Aman used to rule Bollywood in the 70s and 80s till she finally left the film industry to focus on being a good mother. The Bollywood actress who set hearts racing and was categorised as the ultimate ‘it’ girl of Bollywood in that era, was present in our very own Lahore to attend the Shaan-e-Pakistan event. Where culinary skills and ecstatic performances by Pakistan’s musical heavyweights were the highlight of the event, Zeenat’s presence also attracted special attention.
According to a local report, the Qurbani actress said during an interview that Pakistanis were quite good-looking. Not even that, she acknowledged our drama serials as well.
“Your people are quite good looking and your drama serials are watched all over the world,” she said.
Zeenat Aman also spoke of how she would love to do a Pakistani movie if she was offered a role.
“I would love to work here if an opportunity comes,” she said. She also said that she would return to Pakistan when a movie made by her son was released.
“It will be released in the next few months and hopefully we will be back in Pakistan for a premiere,” she said of her son’s film.
