KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee continued to depreciate against the US dollar in the interbank market for the fifth consecutive session, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the greenback appreciated by 0.82 paisa against the local currency in the interbank to close at 219.71.

In open market, the United States Dollar is sold between Rs223 to Rs226, said forex dealers.

The local unit had finished Rs218.89 against the US dollar yesterday.
