According to details, Sartaj Aziz met with the Minister for External Affairs of India Sushma Swaraj and exchanged pleasantries. Both representatives also held a joint press conference and spoke to media personnel present at the venue.
Sushma Swaraj said that it wasn’t possible that she and Sartaj Aziz met each other and the topic of Pathankot incident wasn’t brought up.
“The Pakistani team will begin its investigations regarding the Pathankot incident from March 28,” she announced. According to further details, the Pakistani team will leave for India on March 27.
Sartaj also revealed him and Sushma had a friendly informal chat over at the breakfast table early morning as well.
Sartaj also said that ties between both countries had suffered due to the Pathankot incident. He said that further progress into the matter would strengthen ties between both countries.

Sartaj Aziz also hoped Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Indian PM Narendra Singh Modi would meet up in Washington later.
