The ‘Ghalib’ actor opined that Pakistani drama and television actors are more than just ‘popular’ in India adding that Indian producers are deeply impressed by Pakistani actors.

Shah while speaking to youth in a theater workshop at Karachi’s Arts Council revealed that he has been offered a role in Pakistani movie and he will come to the country at the end of year to take part in the movie’s shooting.

The veteran actor also played a small role in a 2013 Pakistani film ‘Zinda Bhaag’.

The ‘Ishqiya’ actor told youth that theater cannot become as popular as film medium as film comes to audience while theater implores them to think.

“Film is like an ice cream to the brain”, remarked Shah.

Arts Council secretary Ahmed Shah on this occasion awarded Naseeruddin Shah with an honorary membership of Arts Council besides announcing that the actor will be called to train students in the future.
