KARACHI: Pakistan women’s football team has decided to retire No.7 jersey in memory of footballer Shahlyla Ahmadzai Baloch, who was killed in a road accident in Karachi.
The announcement was made by the captain of the team Hajra Khan on her Twitter.
The tweet read, “As Captain of Pakistan Football Team I officially announce that the national team has retired jersey No 7 in memory of Shahlyla Baloch. #RIP”
Pakistani footballer Shahlyla Ahmadzai Baloch was passed away in a road accident late on Wednesday night in Karachi.
Shahlyla Ahmadzai Baloch was regarded as one of the country’s brightest stars in the game.
