KARACHI: President Mamnoon Hussain says Pakistan believes in promotion of peace and security in the region, ARY News reported Saturday.
He was speaking at the 101st midshipman and the passing out parade of officers of Pak Bahria at Pakistan Naval Academy. He said Pakistan had balanced foreign policy, which is based on economic and mutual coordination with neighbouring countries.
He said leadership qualities in an experienced army officer was very vital. The commandant of Pakistan Naval Academy said 29 of those who had acquired the commission belonged to Saudia Arabia. Thirty two of officers are also included in the commission.
The president distributed prizes among officers who had distinguished performances in their services.
