Pakistan beat China by 5-1 in Asian Hockey CT 2013

TOKYO: Pakistan’s hockey team has defeated China 5-1 in Asian Hockey Champions Trophy 2013 on Sunday, ARY News reported.

Pakistan scored three goals in the first half, green shirts two more goals in the second half to claimed the victory.

Among goal scorers captain Mohammad Imran remained the top with two goals while Rizwan Sr., Abdul Haseem Khan and Mohammad Dilbar scored one goal each.

Earlier, on Saturday Pakistan crushed Oman in a one sided match by scoring maximum of 8-0, captain of Pakistan hockey team, Mohammad Imran scored a hatrick in the match.

Pakistan will play their third match on November 5 against Malaysia.

Furthermore, green shirts will face Japan on November 8 while the classified matches will be played on November 10 along with the matches for the 3rd and fourth position, followed by the final on the same day.

Pakistan is participating in the event as the defending champion of Asian Hockey Champions Trophy.

National hockey team had won their first title in 2012 by beating their arch rivals India in the final.
