NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Soldiers of Pakistan Army have announced to donate their one-day salary and a 30-day ration to displaced persons of North Waziristan Agency (NWA), ARY News reported Saturday.
Thousands of families are relocating from NWA in view of the ongoing military operation against militants in the tribal region.
Defence analyst Talat Masood hailed the step of Pakistan Army for the IDPs of North Waziristan. To a question, he said government turned a blind eye towards plights of IDPs and neglected their needs.
He said the it was a part of history that whenever army sacrificed its lives and obtained results in such operations the subsequent governments, owing to their own blunders, let all those sacrifices in vain.
