On the occasion, PAF practically demonstrated its skills to wreak havoc on enemy at a lightning fast speed.
Jointly manufactured by Pakistan and China, JF-17 Thunder aircrafts precisely hit and destroyed enemy targets both in air and on ground. PAF’s Mirage and JF-17 jets also exhibited destruction of an entire runway.
The spectators also witnessed AWACS aircraft demonstrating its capabilities during the exercises.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, chief guest of the ceremony, hailed the pilots, engineers and airmen for their skills and expertise in air warfare and surveillance. He said that the Pakistani armed forces are ready to meet any challenge at any time.
On the occasion, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman said that the PAF is fully capable of defending Pakistan’s airspace.
Federal Minister of Defense Khawaja Asif, CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah, family of martyred PAF pilot Marium Mukhtar and several other dignitaries attended the ceremony and witnessed the exercises.
Earlier, the PAF Chief welcomed PM Sharif upon his arrival at Sonmiani Ranges.
