Presently, five fire tenders have been dousing the blaze and the rescue operation in the area is still underway.
Last month in Sheikhupura, at least ten people sustained burn injuries when a fire broke out in a Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) plant.
The fire engulfed the plant located on Lahore Road. As a result, ten people received injuries and were shifted to the District Headquarter Hospital, Sheikhpura for treatment.
Nine of those injured were discharged after first aid, while one listed as being in critical condition was rushed to a Lahore hospital.
Initially, the blaze erupted in the plant, which spread to the nearby industrial units in no time. Television footage showed flames flickering and black smoke billowing from the gas plant.
The firemen managed to douse the blaze after several hours of hectic efforts.
